JANUARY
Elma Chamber's Wine & Seafood Festival, noon to 10 p.m. Stop by and sample some cheese and support our hospital Foundation!
MARCH
March 13th is the 2nd Annual St. Patrick's Day Bash at the Elma Microtel. $10 at the door includes an Irish buffet dinner and live classic rock music by The Varmints. 7 p.m. to Midnight. Beer and wine available for purchase, 21+ over only. Click here to view poster for the event! All procedes benefit the Mark Reed Hospital Foundation.
MAY
May 7th was our 3rd ANNUAL GOLF & GALA Event. MRF hosts a 18 hole golf scramble at Oaksridge Golf Course in Elma, WA. Golf includes lunch and beverages for $100/player. 4:00 p.m. is a Beer & Wine Tasting acommpanied by a silent auction and live jazz band. Dinner gala and live auction begin at 6:00 p.m. Tickets for the Gala are $25 for golfers and $50 per person for gala-only.
The 3rd Annual Signature Event went off very well and everyone who participated had a great time. The Foundation thanks its many sponsors and volunteers for helping us get very close to meeting our annual pledge of $25,000 to the hospital.
JULY
Saturday, July 10th is the 51st Annual McCleary Bear Festival. Thank you to everyone who participated in our first race event- the Run from the Bears! We received some great feedback and volunteer offers to help improve the race for 2011.
The money raised from the event is going to help support the East Grays Harbor Health Fair and provide free medical services and coordinate medical resources for uninsured families. AND provide free bicycle helmets for kids to help keep them safe! Thank you also to Salon Envy, Gordon's Select Market, McCleary Subway and South Sound Running for sponsoring the event and helping us raise funds for our community health programs!
