Renae Hamshar, Board Secretary
Five years ago, when searching for more property for our expanding horse population, my husband and I were thrilled to discover just what we were looking for in McCleary. We raise and race thoroughbred horses at Portland Meadows and Emerald Downs and, among other positives, McCleary is ideally situated halfway between the two tracks. My husband is a mail carrier and I have worked in the healthcare field for over 25 years, currently as the Manager of the Medical Staff Office at Providence Centralia Hospital. I have worked in hospitals in Tacoma, Edmonds and Auburn, Washington, as well as San Diego, California. I have a passion for healthcare because it gives you the opportunity to change lives on a daily basis. Working on the Foundation Board at Mark Reed gives me a chance to meet my neighbors and contribute to my community. I love the home town feel of East Grays Harbor County and the communities of McCleary, Elma, Satsop and Malone. I am proud to serve on this Board and am eager to enhance the health of our hospital district and its citizens through our fundraising efforts.
